Katy has such a special story—and I feel lucky to have watched parts of it unfold over the years. We originally connected on social media, swapping tips on natural beauty, non-toxic cleaning, and the occasional healthy recipe. I’ve always admired her grounded, intentional spirit—the kind of person who makes you feel at home the moment you step through her front door. Her space, her books, her presence… she makes you feel seen.
One of the most fun parts of Katy and Jayme’s story is how many people were quietly (or not-so-quietly!) rooting for her along the way. She had built a little following around her dating adventures—every time she posted a “first date makeup” look, her inbox would light up with people wanting updates. So when she met Jayme and things clicked so naturally, no one was surprised. Their story bloomed quickly and beautifully—just like her wedding day.
For her florals, Katy envisioned something rustic and romantic, full of garden inspiration and rich, natural texture. We leaned into that with warm tones and as many dahlias from my garden as we could gather. One of my favorite moments was the bouquet-building session with her bridesmaids—each one created something entirely unique, reflective of their personalities, and it brought so much heart into the day.
It meant so much that Katy trusted me to bring her floral vision to life. Getting to create for someone who lives with such intention was an honor I won’t forget.
