I first met Allison when we were just kids—her brother and I played siblings in a local production of The Sound of Music. We spent hours rehearsing as part of the Von Trapp family, and that sweet little chapter stuck with me. Over the years, we’ve stayed in touch through social media, and watching her love story unfold through photos has been such a joy.
So when she reached out about wedding flowers, I’ll admit—I felt a little nervous. I wanted to create something that not only matched her vision, but also felt like her. She had a dreamy vintage blue theme in mind, and we leaned into it in all the best ways. Her bouquet ended up being one of my favorites to date—romantic, delicate, and completely her.
We brought her love of baby’s breath into the design to give the centerpieces and ceremony aisle a soft, timeless feel. And while the arch they stood under didn’t keep the raindrops away, it framed such a beautiful moment—rain and all—as they promised forever.
Getting to be part of this day with someone I’ve known since childhood felt incredibly special. Allison, thank you for trusting me. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
