Every time I see a photo of Emilie from her wedding day, I get that feeling—the one where your heart swells so much it almost hurts. She was absolutely glowing. Not in a bright, sunlit way—but something softer, deeper. She reminded me of the moon that day—radiant in this steady, almost otherworldly way.
Emilie is one of those people who carries love so effortlessly. You could feel it around her all day long—in her smile, in her joy, in the way everyone felt at ease just being near her.
And then…the flowers. Purple has always been my favorite color, so designing with those tones for Emilie made my heart so full. The purples, the greens, the white dahlias and roses—they just sang together. Bold but soft, classic but a little wild.
I still find myself scrolling through these photos more often than I probably should. There’s something in them that just brings me back to that day—the feeling of it, the beauty of it, and most of all, the joy of getting to create something so special for someone I had such a joy working with.
