When I think back on some of the most fun and creatively fulfilling bouquets I’ve ever had the joy of designing, Desi’s comes to mind right away.
From the beginning, she had such an easygoing, open-hearted approach. She knew she wanted florals that felt intentional—something that would complement her bridesmaids and reflect her effortless style. What we landed on was a stunning mix of whites and neutrals, full of texture and movement: snapdragons, roses, veronica, lush greenery, and feathery pampas grass that added the perfect touch of softness and drama.
But as beautiful as the flowers were, nothing compared to Desi herself.
The morning of her wedding was a gentle drizzle of rain—just enough to soften the light and give everything that dreamlike, timeless feel. While others might have worried about the weather, Desi was calm, gracious, and full of light. Her spirit brought so much peace to the day, and it radiates through every photo. Regal, grounded, and glowing.
Designing for Desi was a reminder of what I love most about floral work: it’s not just about the flowers—it’s about the people, the energy they bring, and the moments they let you be part of. I’ll never forget this one.
